ICHG is committed to improving knowledge and training in global health for paediatricians and child health professionals.
GLOBAL CHILD HEALTH Fellowship
Formal, competency based global child health learning and experience through paediatric training in the UK. This ICHG initiative in conjunction with RCPCH is currently being designed and when it is launched will provide longitudinal experience and training in global child health alongside paediatric training in the UK.
CHILD HEALTH IN LOW RESOURCE COUNTRIES (CHiLS) COURSE
A 3 day training course to learn about child health in low resource countries.
This course has been developed for paediatricians and doctors planning to work with children in low-resource settings. Through lectures, workshops and discussion, we aim to prepare participants for some of the key clinical and broader challenges that you may face when working in a low-resource setting.
The course is delivered by UK paediatricians with extensive overseas experience and paediatricians based in low income countries. You will also gain valuable insights from paediatric trainees who have recently returned from working in a low-resource setting.
